Beginning January 2009, AZNCS will begin to offer a FREE MONTHLY NEWSLETTER to its friends and clients. The newsletter will contain subjects such as ... Links to "FREE" software, special offers from AZNCS, Tips and Tweaks to keep your system running smooth. To subscribe to the newsletter, simply complete the form here. Once you subscribe, you will receive a confirmation email at the email address you submitted. In order to validate your subscription, simply follow the instructions included in the email.

Do you know where your software is? If your computer hard drive would break could you find all the software needed to re-install and return to a working computer? Start the New Year right! Take the time to locate all the CDs that AZNCS would need to restore your computer. Without those CDs the only way to re-install is to purchase the software again… which can be costly.

Do you have a recent backup of your important files? If you lost an important file would you be able to re-create it? Better yet… do you have a backup copy saved somewhere? Periodically backing up your important files is a good practice to start. Business experts know that lost data can be a catastrophe. Your data is just as important! Is your computer up-to-date with Microsoft Security patches? By default Windows is set to update your computer with file updates from Microsoft at 3 AM. If your computer is turned off you may not receive these important updates. If you turn your PC off every day you should periodically leave your computer turned on overnight so you can be sure your computer is updated. Not sure if you have the latest patches… Give us a call!

Software of the Month… FileZilla (File Transfer Client) FileZilla is an FTP client used for transferring files to another machine running FTP Server. This process can be used to copy files to another machine as a backup. **FREE at http://filezilla-project.org
